SFP is a partnership between the Belgian Foundation against cancer, Cancer Research UK, the Dutch Cancer Society and the Norwegian Cancer Society with the European Heart Network, Action on Smoking and Health (UK), and La Ligue contre le Cancer as Associate Partners. We aim to promote tobacco control advocacy and policy research at EU and national levels in collaboration with other EU health organisations and EU tobacco control networks.
SFP's vision is a world free from the death and suffering caused by tobacco consumption. SFP's mission is the effective implementation of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC).

The SFP Coalition is a specialised network comprising of independent EU and national organisations with technical expertise in tobacco control policy created in 2014. The main priorities of the SFP Coalition will be to continue promoting forward-looking and evidence-based tobacco control legislation in order to support the implementation of the FCTC in specific and cross-cutting policy areas with an overarching goal of improving health and reducing health inequalities among EU citizens.
