Belgian Foundation against Cancer

The Belgian Foundation against Cancer is a public interest foundation, active in all of Belgium. Every year over 65.000 Belgians get diagnosed with cancer. This is why the Belgian Foundation against Cancer funds scientific research, disseminates evidence-based information and provides support to patients and their loved ones. The Foundation also actively raises awareness on how to prevent cancer and encourages people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The Belgian Foundation against Cancer is since long very active in the field of tobacco control advocacy. The national quitline Tabakstop/Tabacstop is operated by the Belgian Foundation against Cancer. 90% of the Foundation against Cancer’ budget comes from donations and legacies by the Belgian people.
